National School Counseling Week 2020, “School Counselors: Helping Build Better Humans,” will be celebrated from Feb. 3–7, 2020, to focus public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors within U.S. school systems.
Dora Carrillo started off in education as a teacher, but quickly transitioned into a counseling role. She has worked at Bassett High School, Torch Middle, and now is counselor at Van Wig. She is passionate about helping students and families, and loves her place in the Van Wig family.
